Top 10 Finishers In WWE Today

*Note: I only chose finishers from current full-time wrestlers. That does not include HHH, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, or Undertaker*

10. The Miz- Skull Crushing Finale
Every wrestler with great in-ring work should have an excellent, exciting, and inventive finisher to top off their matches. The Miz has one in his signature move, The Skull Crushing Finale, which he performs by putting his arms in a full nelson-like position, sweeping his opponent's leg, and planting his opponents head into the ground.(He calls it a 'skull crushing' finale for a reason.) Overall, this is a nice-looking, inventive finisher that excites the crowd.

9. Cody Rhodes- Cross Rhodes
Cody Rhodes is one of the rising stars in WWE and is one of the best talents in wrestling, but no wrestler would be complete without an excellent finisher, and for Rhodes, this finisher is Cross Rhodes. He precedes this move with a Beautiful Disaster kick and then performs his finisher by holding his opponent's head in an inverted face lock and twisting his opponent into a cutter position, or aka an RKO or Diamond Cutter, knocking his opponent out for the 1 2 3.

8. Alberto Del Rio- Cross Arm Breaker
Del Rio has an aggressive in-ring presence and moveset, in which he targets his opponents arm for his finishing submission maneuver, the Cross Arm Breaker. This move, commonly used in UFC, is performed with his opponent bent over on the ground, Del Rio grabs their arm, spins in midair, and applies the arm breaker or arm bar. This move will get Del Rio a win 9 times out of 10, making this move effective, and giving it the number eight slot in my top ten.

7. Christian- Killswitch
Christian has with no doubt has built a huge legacy in WWE. He has won so many big matches in his career, but the ending to those matches all have one thing in common: The Killswitch. This is a risky move, because Christian has to turn his  back on his opponent, but he pulls it off, nonetheless. He executes this move by standing behind his opponent, hooking their arms, twisting around 180 degrees, falling back, and planting his opponent's face on the ground.

6. Brogue Kick- Sheamus
This move is just devastating. I don't think I've ever seen someone kick out after receiving a Brogue Kick. Like many of Sheamus's other maneuvers, it is power and effective. Even though the move is simple, it is deadly and can come out of nowhere. Sheamus gets a running start, does this bicycle kick by kicking both feet forward, then delivering a big boot to his opponents face.

5.619- Rey Mysterio
619 is synonymous with Rey Mysterio, and that is a great feat if you are a wrestler. Named after his hometown, San Diego's, area code. It is probably the most exciting move in WWE today. Preceded by a head scissors or tripping his opponent onto the second rope, grabs the top and middle rope, and swings his legs, kicking his opponent in the face. This move excites me and the WWE Universe every time it is performed.

4. Codebreaker- Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame, one of the greatest of all time, and the first ever undisputed champion, but when he returned he decided to reinvent himself, and with reinventing himself, he also returned with a new, revamped finisher, The Codebreaker. Jericho gets a running start, grabs his opponents head, and falls back with his knees under his opponent's chin, knocking them out cold.

3. The 'No' Lock(AKA the Yes Lock or LeBell Lock)- Daniel Bryan
This is an effective, clean, and technical maneuver from the best technical wrestler in the world. This is a great submission because it's just one of those move that makes you say "Ouch". He performs it by placing his opponents arm in between his legs, locking his hands over their face, and wrenching back. When the ref asks the person receiving this move if they want to tap out, they almost always cry "YES! YES! YES!"

2.GTS- CM Punk
CM Punk is the best wrestler in the company and his finisher is one of the best as well. This move has won Punk multiple world titles and other matches. He performs it by picking his opponent up in a fireman's carry, then drops his opponent, while bringing his knee up, hitting his opponent in the temple, making his opponent, well, go to sleep.

1. RKO- Randy Orton
This was an easy pick. The RKO is deadly because it can come out of nowhere when his opponent least expects. The Viper knocks his opponent to the ground, stalks his prey, and when they get up, they're in for a cutter in which Orton jumps, grabbing his opponent's neck, and plants their head into the ground with pinpoint accuracy, knocking his opponent out onto the mat, making this the best finisher in WWE.
